MARIPOSA — November 2, 2026. Mariposa County Library lists its main branch at 4978 Tenth Street with extended Tuesday–Thursday hours and weekend access on Saturdays.

When the main building opens

Regular hours are Monday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday–Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday is closed. The county warns that all five branches close on county holidays.

Library services beyond borrowing

The library offers public technology, meeting rooms, literacy assistance and an online catalog tied into the San Joaquin Valley Library System. Not every service is staffed throughout the building’s opening hours.

Before a visit

Call 209-966-2140 if you need computer support, to collect a hold, book a room or to confirm holiday hours. Smaller county branches have different schedules and should not be assumed to open until 7 p.m.
